Privacy Policy

Learn how ZEROCAT protects your privacy and handles your personal information.

Introduction

Our commitment to your privacy and data security

At ZEROCAT, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Exchange platform.

We prioritize transparency and give you control over your data. We only collect information that is necessary for the functioning of our services and compliance with regulatory requirements.

KYC Requirements & Limitations

When and why we collect personal information

USD Transactions Only

No KYC for Crypto Transactions

No personal information is required for exchanges between cryptocurrencies within our platform. You can freely exchange ZERO with STK, PESA, SYSC and other digital currencies without providing KYC documentation.

This separation allows you to maintain privacy for your crypto-to-crypto transactions while still complying with regulations for fiat transactions.

Data Separation & Blockchain Privacy

How we protect your identity on the blockchain

Separated Storage

Your KYC information is stored in a separately encrypted database that is completely disconnected from the ZeroBrix blockchain. The association between your wallet address and personal information exists only within the Exchange app.

This information can be accessed, modified, or deleted by you at any time through your account settings. We will never share this information with third parties except where required by law or to complete transactions you initiate.

Blockchain Privacy

The ZeroBrix blockchain does not record any personal information. All transactions on the blockchain only include wallet addresses, timestamps, transaction IDs, optional or smart contract details, token IDs, and transaction amounts - never names, addresses, payment details, or other personal identifiers.

This means that your ZeroBrix transactions remain private and anonymous on the blockchain itself. Zerocoin is not a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) and does not track or link transactions to personal identities.

Multiple Wallets Policy

Our encouragement of wallet diversification for enhanced privacy

We actively encourage users to create and use multiple ZeroBrix wallets to enhance their privacy if they wish. Having different wallets for different purposes is a recommended practice for maintaining privacy in blockchain transactions.

You can create separate wallets for trading, saving, or different types of transactions. This further enhances the separation between your identity and your blockchain activity.

There are no restrictions or policies against using multiple wallets on our platform, and we provide tools to help you manage them effectively.

Your Data Rights

Control over your personal information

  • Right to Access: You can view all personal data we store about you through your account settings.
  • Right to Correction: You can update or correct your personal information at any time.
  • Right to Deletion: You can request deletion of your personal information from our systems.
  • Right to Data Portability: You can request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Right to Object: You can object to certain processing of your personal data.
